The noted local author Tony Greenbank is writing an article on the club for Cumbria magazine, and he paid a visit to High House as part of his research. During this visit he took a series of photos, and is planning to use the one below in his article. (See here for the resulting article).
The members below (most of whom are sporting their bargain priced 75th anniversary Fellfarer fleeces!) from left to right are - Hugh, Val, Mick, Roger, Colin, Margaret, Clare, and Kati.

The annual visit to Skye by Peter Goff and friends produced the two views below.

Dame and Penny run the charity Friends of Roshni which supports the work of ROSHNI in India, a special school and therapy centre for children and young adults with neurological disabilities such as cerebral palsy. As a fund raising venture, they walked the Cumbria Way in three days sleeping rough on the two nights. Below left shows their first bivi site in Cathedral Cavern in the Tilberthwaite Quarries, accompanied by Clare (& Mick) Fox. .

The Club decided to celebrate Halloween in 2009 in place of Bonfire Night. Below left shows Peter and Walter enjoying the fire, whilst below right shows Kati and Fred 'hamming it up' watched by a bemused Clare.
